Mykhailo Nazarenko is Associate Professor of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
He’s a literature historian, critic and writer. His books are dedicated to the history of SF and fantasy (The Reality of Wonder; Beyond the Fields We Know) and the Ukrainian literature of the 19th century (Buried on a Mound: Shevchenko in Folklore and Fakelore; Besides “Kobzar”: An Anthology of Ukrainian Literature, 1792-1883).
He received the National Taras Shevchenko award in 2023 and a number of prizes earlier.
Mykhailo Nazarenko est professeur associé à l’Université nationale Taras Shevchenko de Kiev. Il est historien de la littérature, critique et écrivain.
Ses ouvrages sont consacrés à l’histoire de la SF et du fantastique (The Reality of Wonder ; Beyond the Fields We Know) et à la littérature ukrainienne du XIXe siècle (Buried on a Mound : Shevchenko in Folklore and Fakelore ; Besides « Kobzar » : Une anthologie de la littérature ukrainienne, 1792-1883).
Il a reçu le prix national Taras Shevchenko en 2023 et plusieurs autres prix auparavant.
